Buy From eBay. Any Seller, Anywhere in the World.

eBay has local sites and individual sellers in nearly every country — Germany, the UK, Japan, Australia, and dozens more, each with its own pricing, categories, and shipping habits, including plenty of antique, vintage, and collectible items you won't find on the US site. Most sellers who can ship internationally do, through eBay's own checkout. But not all of them: some restrict their shipping to their own country or region and exclude the US outright, and others list the item as local pickup only — no shipping option at all, because they expect a buyer to show up in person.

When that happens, it's not that eBay can't get the item to the US — it's that this particular seller, wherever in the world they are, decided not to offer it. There's no way around that from a US address; the listing simply won't let you check out.

How It Works

  1. 1

You send us the listing and your budget. Paste the eBay link, wherever in the world the seller is — tell us if it's already showing that it won't ship to the US, or if it's listed as local pickup only.

  2. 2

We check what's actually possible. If the seller restricts shipping by address, we check whether we have a receiving address in that seller's own country — we have receiving points in multiple countries, including the US, UK, Germany, France, Japan, and more. If we have a match, buying from there usually unlocks it. If we don't, we look at the closest country in our network or check directly with the seller about other options, and tell you honestly if it's not possible. If it's local pickup only, we find out whether the seller is willing to make an exception — some will, many won't, and we tell you honestly either way before you commit to anything.

  3. 3

We complete the purchase through eBay's own checkout, from whichever address makes the listing workable, or arrange collection when pickup is the only option and the seller agrees.

  4. 4

It's received at whichever of our facilities matches the address we bought from (or routed there once collected, if it was a pickup-only item). Inspection is available if you want it — just ask, and we'll confirm it's the item described and check for obvious damage before it ships. If you skip this, it goes straight to packing.

  5. 5

We pack it — standard protective packaging, reinforced for fragile items, or custom crating/palletizing for oversized pieces on request (may cost more) — then weigh it and send you a separate invoice for shipping. That's billed separately from your original quote, since it depends on the actual weight and size once it's packed.

  6. 6

Once that's paid, we ship it to your US address, usually via DHL, in about 7–14 days. That's a typical range, not a guarantee.

  7. 7

Customs duties are paid on delivery, and we provide the customs paperwork. This is charged by the carrier when your package arrives, not something we prepay or fold into our quote.

Pricing

Our service fee is 8–15% of the item's price, with a $20 minimum, on top of what you pay for the item — the exact rate depends on the specifics, so you'll see the real number on your quote. Shipping and packaging are billed separately once we know the actual weight and size (see step 5) — they're not part of this quote.

If it doesn't go through:

  • The listing turns out to be genuinely unreachable (seller won't make an exception on pickup, or no country in our network unlocks it), or the deal falls through before we've paid — nothing is charged, including our service fee.
  • Cancel after we've already purchased it on your behalf — we refund whatever we can recover from the sale; our service fee isn't refunded, since the sourcing work is already done.
  • The item turns out to be un-exportable, or customs rejects it — we refund the purchase price minus any costs already incurred, and tell you exactly what those were.

Refunds go back through Stripe to your original payment method, typically 5–10 business days. Shipping and packaging fees are refundable until the parcel is dispatched — once it's with the carrier, they're not.

What We Buy

We focus on antique, vintage, and collectible items on eBay — watches, cameras, vinyl records, and sports memorabilia are long-standing strong categories on the platform and fit squarely in what we handle, no matter which country the seller is in.

Why This Works

Wherever in the world the seller is, we check what a specific listing actually allows before you commit to anything — whether it's a shipping restriction we can work around with a receiving address in that seller's own country, or a pickup-only listing we have to ask the seller about directly — instead of you finding out after trying to check out yourself.

FAQ

Yes, for most listings — eBay has its own international shipping programs and many sellers use them. This page is about the listings where a specific seller, wherever they are, chose not to: restricted to their own country, or marked local pickup only.

Not always. We ask the seller whether they'll make an exception, and tell you honestly if they won't. Large or low-value items are the least likely to get a yes.

We check the closest country in our network, or ask the seller directly about other options. If neither works, we'll tell you honestly rather than take your money for something we can't deliver.

Through eBay's own checkout, the same way any buyer would — eBay handles payment processing directly, so there's no separate payment method to negotiate with the seller.

Credit or debit card, Alipay, or WeChat Pay, all through Stripe's hosted checkout. For large or unusual orders, we may arrange a wire transfer instead.

If it turns out to be significantly not as described, we'll step in and communicate with the original seller on your behalf. Any return depends on that seller's own policies — sales are considered final once we've purchased on your behalf, return shipping is your responsibility, and we can't guarantee the outcome.

No — even when you request inspection, we confirm the item matches the listing and check for obvious damage, but we don't power things on or run a functional test.

Shipping alone typically runs 7–14 days once we have the item — pickup-only items add however long it takes to arrange collection.
