Als Expert Modell erhielt die Formneuheit der PIKO 102.1 einen Motor mit präzise ausgewuchteter Schwungmasse. Mit dem fahrtrichtungsabhängigen, automatischen Lichtwechsel weiß/rot ist die separate Abschaltbarkeit des roten „Rücklichts“ verbunden. Die Führerstands-Beleuchtung ermöglicht vorbildgetreuen Nachtbetrieb. Das Modell ist mit einer PluX22-Schnittstelle für Digitalbetrieb einschließlich Sounddecoder vorbereitet. Freistehende Griffstangen und Geländer komplettieren das anspruchsvolle Erscheinungsbild des PIKO Modells.
