The HXD1D is a modern Electric Locomotive used by China Railways, 511 of which have been built since 2012. Deployed on medium- and long-distance passenger services, these Co-Co locomotives have a top speed of 160km/h and they have become a mainstay on passenger routes across China’s electrified network thanks to their reliable and economic performance.
