The Red Star Parcels Office makes a welcome return to the Scenecraft range as part of our Summer 2022 British Railway Announcements . In many ways, the Red Star Parcels service was very similar to the ‘Click and Collect’ services that we are so familiar with nowadays, with parcels dropped off at pre-determined points – Red Star Parcels offices, which were more often than not at or aside a railway station – and then collected from the office at their destination, with trains conveying the parcels between their origin and destination. The scheme was a great success until Privatisation in the 1990s, and now you too can depict this historic service in miniature with the help of this Scenecraft model. MODEL FEATURES:
