Corrugated Nissen Hut

厂商原文

Originally designed for military use during wartime, Nissen Huts became a practical solution for agricultural and industrial applications in the post-war period. Their distinctive semi-cylindrical shape and corrugated design made them recognisable landmarks across the British countryside, representing the repurposing of surplus military infrastructure during times of rebuilding and recovery. This Corrugated Nissen Hut from Hornby's Skaledale range features a weathered finish, capturing the post-war repurposing of these iconic structures. Measuring 95mm in length, this building is designed for rural or post-war city layouts. The corrugated detailing adds visual appeal for modellers seeking historical elements in their scenic arrangements. A perfect addition to any railway modelling kit or collection.
